The videos displayed here are the first edits of an ongoing project following in the footsteps of the New Zealanders in general and of my great uncle Alfred Cranstone Cowie in particular during The Battle of The Somme, 1916.

The filming was done exactly 100 years after the events took place, and in some cases, to the minute. It involved a long trek from what were the rear areas up to the front line. The chapters listed so far are not in any particular chronological order. When the final chapters have been completed they will all be fine-tuned and compiled into a single movie.

Anyway, that's the plan...
