Over the past decade or two, I have spent 1000s of hours poring over archival documents, both online and in reading rooms. There was often considerable costs involved in aquiring documents.
Some handwritten documents I have transcribed, an often difficult and time-consumimg task, given the legibility of some documents. I have had to learn what arcane military terms and abbreviations stood for, and to read trench maps.
i have decided to make much of the material I have collected available here, future stuff will also be uploaded here.
